Bikeflights is proud to offer bicycle shipping services to and from Cycle for the Cause. a three-day, tri-state cycling fundraiser supporting The NYC LGBT Community Center and its life-saving, love-affirming programs.
Please follow the instructions below carefully to ensure smooth delivery and return of your bike, wheels, and gear. Suggested shipping locations and dates are pre-populated in Bikeflights—select them using the drop-down menu or enter your own arrangements.
SHIP TO (Stage 1):
- Bikes can be shipped to the event’s partner bike shop, Unlimited Biking. They will bring your bike to the start line for your arrival on Friday morning.
- You are also welcome to ship to a different location that you prefer if you’re trying to get access to your bike in advance of Friday morning. In that case, you will be responsible to pick up your bike and get it to the start line Friday morning.
- Optional round-trip unpacking/repacking and assembly/disassembly package with Unlimited Biking is available for $180+ tax*, payable directly to Unlimited Biking no later than Friday, September 18, 2026. These services are only available if you select Unlimited Biking as your ship to and ship from location.
- *NOTE: If this service is not purchased, all of these tasks will be the Rider’s responsibility when you get your bike from their tent on Randall’s Island on Friday morning.
- Bikes MUST arrive at Unlimited Biking no later than Friday, September 18, 2026.
SHIP FROM (Stage 2):
- Unlimited Biking will handle return shipping if you prefer. They will take your bike from you at the Closing Celebration on Sunday and ship it back to you. You are also welcome to ship from another location that you prefer. If you choose a different location, you will be responsible to transport your bike from Closing Celebration and arrange any optional services with that vendor.
- As above, optional roundtrip unpacking/repacking and assembly/disassembly package is available for $180+ tax*, payable to Unlimited Biking Friday, September 18, 2026. This is only available if you are using Unlimited Biking for your “ship from” location.
- *NOTE: If this service is not purchased, all of these tasks will be the Rider’s responsibility when you drop off your bike at Closing Celebration on Sunday.
- Email your Bikeflights return shipping label to cycleforthecause@gaycenter.org after purchasing bike shipping, no matter where you are shipping to or have selected for post-event. We will need this to ship your bike home post-Ride.
- Unlimited Biking staff will receive your bike at the Closing Celebration if you’ve chosen this option.
- Bikes will start shipping back to Riders from Unlimited Biking starting Monday, October 5, 2026.
Unlimited Biking is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen bikes, parts, or accessories associated with the packaging and return shipping from Unlimited Biking.
