IPMBA has partnered with Bikeflights for bicycle shipping services. Bikeflights also offers instructions on how to securely pack a bike for shipping in this resource: How to Pack a Bicycle for Shipping.
The event’s partner bike shop, Sun Adventure Sports, is available to receive your bike. You must contact Sun Adventure Sports in advance via phone at 806-351-2453 to arrange for shipping and other services, and remit payment prior to shipping. Do not just ship your bike.
Book your shipment "round-trip". You must print a return label when scheduling your shipment. Place the return label in the box with the bike for use after the event.
The booking form will calculate your ship-on date. We recommend building in two extra days to allow for unexpected delays.
Self-Assembly
If you are plan to assemble and repack your bike youself, you may ship to the Amarillo Civic Center directly. Your boxed bike will be held for you to retrieve and assemble it. At the end of the conference, you must box your bike, apply the return label, and leave it for pickup.
