RAGBRAI 2025 Shipping

Bikeflights is proud to offer bicycle shipping services to RAGBRAI. The Des Moines Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across the state. Heading into its 50th edition, RAGBRAI is the oldest, largest and longest recreational bicycle touring event in the world.

OPTION #1: Ship your bike & enjoy on-the-ground, at-event support from Pork Belly Ventures

If you are booking your shipment from anywhere within the contiguous U.S. and would like to use Pork Belly Ventures event services, please book your flat rate box + shipping + additional event concierge services here in our online store. Available additional services that come with your flat-rate shipping include receiving your bike and getting it to you at the start, transporting your box/case from start to finish and receiving your bike after the event. You also have the option to purchase bike assembly service before RAGBRAI or bike packing service after RAGBRAI.

Flat-rate box + shipping is not available for shipping to and/or from Alaska, Hawaii and internationally. If you are shipping to and/or from these locations AND want to use Pork Belly’s event concierge services, please contact our Support Team for your ship-to and ship-from address, and book your shipment using the form below. Then contact Pork Belly Ventures to separately arrange your own additional event concierge services like those listed above.

OPTION #2: DIY shipping and event support from anywhere

If you are taking care of all your own on-the-ground logistics and want to ensure your bike, wheels and gear receive the highest level of monitoring on the way to and from RAGBRAI, please book your shipment using the form below. We suggest booking your shipments to and from your hotel(s) and bike shops near the start and finish. You will be responsible for getting your bike to/from your ship-to and ship-from locations, for assembly and packing of your bike and for getting your case between the start and the finish.

Other notes for all shippers

For all shipments, you may use your own box or case; however, we suggest you ship your bike in a Bikeflights Bike Box Large (BBL) because it fits most bikes, comes with essential packing materials and is easy to pack. Order a Bikeflights Bike Box Large if your are not otherwise purchasing one through our flat rate + shipping service offerings in our online store. Please allow for up to one week for your BBL to deliver to directly you.
